Terms of Service

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are an agreement between you and Mouliom Holdings LLC ("Storied", "we", "us"), which operates Storied. By creating an account or using Storied, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Storied.

Who can use Storied

You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and use Storied for your own personal finances. One account is for one person.

Your account

Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has gotten in, sign out everywhere from Settings and write to privacy@storiedmoney.com right away.

Connecting your banks

When you connect a bank, you sign in on your bank's own page through Plaid, and you authorize us to receive read-only data from that bank on your behalf. Storied cannot move, send or spend money, and nothing in these terms gives it permission to. You can disconnect a bank or close your account at any time. Your use of Plaid is also covered by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

Information, not advice

Storied shows your numbers, does the math, and compares options. It is not a financial, investment, tax or legal advisor, and nothing in Storied is a recommendation to buy, sell or do anything. Decisions are yours. For advice about your situation, talk to a qualified professional.

Account data comes from your banks and from Plaid. It can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and estimates and forecasts can differ from what really happens. Storied always shows when data was last updated. Check with your bank before relying on a number.

Your data

You own your data. You give us permission to store and use it only to run Storied for you, as the Privacy Policy describes. You can export all of it, or close your account, anytime from Settings.

Price

Storied is free while it is in early access. If we ever introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price first, and you will never be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

Using Storied fairly

Do not misuse Storied. That means no breaking the law with it, no using someone else's accounts without permission, no trying to get into systems or data that are not yours, no interfering with the service or other people's use of it, and no copying, reselling or reverse engineering the app.

Our service

Storied, its design and its software belong to Mouliom Holdings LLC. We keep improving it, which means features can change, and some can go away. We will tell you ahead of time about changes that matter. We work to keep Storied available, but it may sometimes be down or slow.

Leaving, and suspension

You can close your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and when we can, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to export your data.

Disclaimers

Storied is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond what these terms say, including about the accuracy of data from banks and Plaid, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted service.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mouliom Holdings LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or decisions you make based on information in Storied. Our total liability for any claim about Storied is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, write to privacy@storiedmoney.com first, and we will try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you keep using Storied after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can close your account.
